Welcome to Eventify! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Eventify platform, including event discovery, ticket booking, and partner services. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website and mobile application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Eventify, operated by BSH Technologies, Kerala, India.
2. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services. If you are under 18, you may only use our Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using our Services, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. Event Booking & Tickets
When you book tickets through Eventify, you agree to the following:
- Bookings are confirmed only upon successful payment. A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address.
- Seat allocation and event logistics are managed by the respective event organisers. Eventify is not responsible for changes made by organisers.
- Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly stated. Resale or scalping of tickets is strictly prohibited.
- Entry to events is subject to the organiser’s terms and the applicable venue rules.
4. Payments
All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (₹) through secure payment gateways including Worldline (Paynimo) and UPI-enabled services. By making a payment, you agree that:
- All prices displayed are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Convenience fees, if any, are non-refundable.
- Eventify does not store your card or payment credentials.
- Payment failures due to bank or gateway errors must be reported within 24 hours.
5. Refunds & Cancellations
Refund eligibility and processing are governed by our Refund Policy, available at eventifyplus.com/policies/refund-policy. Please review it carefully before completing your booking.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Engage in fraudulent bookings, chargebacks, or payment disputes without legitimate grounds.
- Resell, duplicate, or unauthorisedly distribute event tickets.
- Use automated bots or scrapers to access event listings or booking systems.
- Post offensive, misleading, or harmful content on any Eventify-linked platform.
7. User-Generated Content — Zero Tolerance for Abuse
Eventify lets you post reviews, ratings, photos, and other content ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit, and you grant Eventify a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.
There is ZERO TOLERANCE for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Eventify. By creating an account or logging in, you agree not to post, upload, or transmit User Content that is:
- Obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise indecent.
- Hateful, discriminatory, or demeaning towards any person or group on the basis of race, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
- Harassing, threatening, bullying, defamatory, or intended to intimidate another user.
- Violent, graphic, or promoting self-harm, terrorism, or illegal activity.
- Spam, fraudulent, impersonating another person, or knowingly false.
Reporting and blocking: every piece of User Content carries a report control, and every author can be blocked. Blocking a user removes their content from your view immediately and notifies Eventify of the objectionable content.
Our commitment: Eventify reviews every report and acts on objectionable content within 24 hours by removing the content and ejecting the user who posted it. Accounts found to have posted objectionable content or abused other users are terminated without notice and may be permanently barred from the platform.
To report objectionable content or an abusive user outside the app, email [email protected]. We respond to all such reports within 24 hours.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Eventify platform — including logos, interface design, event listings, and text — is owned by Eventify or its licensors and protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
9. Third-Party Events
Eventify operates as a discovery and booking platform. We are not the organiser of events listed on our platform. Eventify is not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or cancellation of events by third-party organisers.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Indian law, Eventify (BSH Technologies) and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific booking in question.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to Eventify or other users. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will cease immediately.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
