These Official Rules apply to every giveaway shown in the Eventify app. Each giveaway also lists its own prize, entry options, and open and close times in the app; those details form part of these rules for that giveaway. By entering, you agree to these rules and to our Terms and Conditions.
1. Sponsor
Unless a giveaway names a partner organiser as its operator, the sponsor is Sicherhaven Technologies, which operates Eventify, Beach Road Chavakkad, Thrissur, Kerala 680506, India. Where a giveaway is run by a partner organiser for their event, that organiser is the sponsor and is named on the giveaway; Eventify provides the entry and draw system.
2. Apple and Google are not sponsors
Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, any Eventify giveaway in any way. Giveaways are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Apple Inc. or Google LLC.
3. Who can enter
- You need a registered Eventify account in good standing.
- You must meet the eligibility requirements in our Terms and Conditions: 18 or older, or entering with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts any prize on the entrant's behalf.
- One account per person. Entries from duplicate or fake accounts are void.
- Employees of the sponsor, and members of their immediate households, may not enter that sponsor's giveaways.
- Giveaways are void where prohibited by law.
4. Giveaway period
Each giveaway shows when entries open and close, in Indian Standard Time. Entries received after the close time are not counted.
5. How to enter
- Free entry. Every giveaway has a free entry: tap to enter in the app. No purchase and no EP are needed, and buying a ticket or anything else does not improve your chances unless a giveaway says otherwise.
- Additional entries with EP. Some giveaways let you spend EP for extra entries, up to the cap shown on the giveaway. EP is earned through activity in the app and cannot be bought. EP spent on entries is not refunded.
- The giveaway shows how many entries you have used and how many you have left.
- Entries made by bots, scripts or any automated means are void.
6. Odds
The odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received. Each valid entry counts once, so having more entries increases your chance. A person can win at most once per draw.
7. Prizes
The prize, its value and the number of winners are shown on each giveaway. Prizes can be EP, a free ticket to an event, or another prize described on the giveaway. Prizes have no cash alternative unless the giveaway says so and may not be transferred. If a prize becomes unavailable, the sponsor may replace it with one of equal or greater value.
8. How winners are chosen
After entries close, winners are picked by a seeded random draw across all valid entries, weighted by each person's number of entries. The seed and the total number of entries are recorded and published on the giveaway after the draw, so anyone can re-run the draw and check the result.
9. Notifying winners and delivering prizes
Winners are notified in the app. EP prizes are credited to the winner's account and ticket prizes are issued to their Eventify tickets automatically. For any other prize, the sponsor contacts the winner using the email or phone number on their account to arrange delivery. If a winner cannot be reached or does not respond within 14 days, the prize may be forfeited.
10. Taxes
Prizes may be subject to tax under Indian law, including tax deducted at source where it applies. Winners are responsible for any tax due on a prize, and the sponsor may ask for details required to comply.
11. Disqualification and changes
The sponsor may disqualify entries or entrants that break these rules or our Terms and Conditions, including through fraud or tampering. If a giveaway cannot run as planned because of fraud, a technical fault or reasons outside the sponsor's control, the sponsor may change, suspend or cancel it, and will show the change on the giveaway.
12. Your data
We use your entry information only to run the giveaway, choose winners and deliver prizes, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not publish a winner's name or details without their consent.
13. Governing law
These rules are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.
